Harangody out, Porter in

For the sixth consecutive game, the Mad Ants will be without their leading scorer and rebounder.

Forward Luke Harangody (20.1 points, 12.3 rebounds), who has a sore knee, will not play tonight when the Mad Ants (16-19) play host to Springfield (13-21) at Memorial Coliseum.

Making a rare start tonight is 6-foot-7 forward Chris Porter, who was singled out by coach Duane Ticknor as the only player who gave the team first-half effort in Tuesday's 112-104 loss to Erie. In that game, the Ants fell behind by 26 points in the first half.

Porter scored four points, had three rebounds and one assist against the BayHawks. He averages 2.1 points and 3.2 rebounds.

Springfield will be aided with the assignment of 6-8 forward Teke Shengelia, who was sent to the Armor from the Brooklyn Nets. Earlier this season, Shengelia scored 39 points against Maine.
