Hoop teams to end regular season

The men's and women's basketball teams will wind up their regular seasons on the road Saturday - one going north, the other going south.

The men's team will play Oakland in Rochester, Mich. at 6 p.m. Saturday, and the women will close out their schedule with a 4 p.m. game at IUPUI.

The IPFW women (12-15) have nailed down a No. 4 seed in next week's Summit League tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D., and will play either Western Illinois or North Dakota State in the 1 p.m. game March 10.

It's strong chance that the men (14-16) will face Oakland at 7 p.m. Sunday. Oakland will be the No. 4 seed, and the Mastodons could wind up as the No. 5 seed.
