Grain futures mixed, beef prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 18 cents to $7.0250 a bushel; May corn fell 5.25 cents to $7.0325 a bushel; May oats rose 4.50 cents to $3.8425 a bushel; while May soybeans jumped 18.50 cents to $14.62 a bushel.

Beef futures rose, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.40 cent to $1.3035 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.97 cent to $1.4252 a pound; April lean hogs fell 0.82 cent at 80.30 cents a pound.
