By the numbers: Snowfall

FORT WAYNE – A record snowfall of 9.0 inches was set in Fort Wayne for March 5. This breaks the old record of 2.2 set in 2005.

The city got 1.4 inches Wednesday, which makes the total 10.4 inches, according to the The National Weather Service in northern Indiana.

The weather service released the latest 24-hour snowfall reports at 8:52 a.m. Wednesday.
