Woman spared jail for credit card fraud

A Fort Wayne woman who made purchases with credit cards meant for the needs of mentally impaired people received a suspended sentence Friday.

Christine Hunt, 29, pleaded guilty to three counts of felony credit card fraud during a hearing in Allen Superior Court and was given a two-year suspended prison sentence, according to court records.

She was also ordered to serve two years’ probation.

Hunt, of the 500 block of Springbrook Road, had been accused of racking up $255 in purchases on cards that were for people served by Arc of Northeast Indiana.
