Foellinger grants

The Foellinger Foundation Board of Directors has approved grants totaling $1.37 million to support nonprofit organizations that provide services throughout Allen County. Most are in the category of youth development.

Grant recipients:

Allen County Public Library: $580,000 two-year program support for young-adult summer reading, and $315,000 three-year program support for a Foundation-Invited Initiative for the Nonprofit Resource Center

Lifeline Youth and Family Services: $185,000 one-year program support for Project Incentive, Independent Living and Home-Based Services

Boys & Girls Club of Fort Wayne: $85,000 one-year operating support

Euell A. Wilson Center: $40,000 one-year operating support

Salvation Army: $40,000 one-year program support for Community Youth Center

Power House Youth Center: $32,500 one-year operating support

Fort Wayne Urban League: $22,500 one-year program support for Youth Services

Gateway Woods Family Services: $20,000 one-year program support for the Prevention Preferred Program

Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana: $20,000 one-year program support for Girl Scout Leadership Experience

Erin’s House for Grieving Children: $15,000 one-year operating support

Women’s Care Center: $10,000 one-year program support for Nurturing Teen Mothers

Crossroad Child and Family Services: $10,000 one-year operating support
