Bishop Luers had three players score in double figures with one recording a double-double, but it wasnt enough to defeat No. 7 Bowman Academy in the Class 2A North Judson finals.
James Blackmon Jr. led the way for the No. 9 Knights (16-6) in the title game with 29 points. Randell Jackson had 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Vijay Blackmon had 13 points.
Bowman Academy (16-9) matched Luers double-digit scorers by getting 19 each from Antonio Pipkin, Justin King and Davon Dillar.
The Knights reached the finals with a 60-34 semifinal win over Boone Grove.
Blackmon Jr. had 26 points, and C.J. McCarter added 21 against Boone Grove (14-9).
Class 4A
SOUTH BEND ADAMS 48, WARSAW 46: Warsaw (13-11) took a 28-25 lead over South Bend Adams (22-2) after the first half by shooting 54.2 percent, but the Tigers shot only 29.4 percent in the second half in the Michigan City semifinals. Jarod Bloom scored 14 points for Warsaw, and Jordan Stookey added 13.
Class A
TRITON 44, CANTERBURY 41: The Cavaliers were unable to climb out of a 16-11 first-half deficit in the Triton semifinals. Chase Moyle scored 16 for Canterbury (15-9), and Trent VanHorn added 11. Clay Yeo had 17 points for No. 10 Triton (18-5).
