Big win over Maine

The Mad Ants had three double-doubles in their 107-93 victory over Maine on Thursday at Memorial Coliseum.

Coach Duane Ticknor said he has seen three before but not all in points and rebounds.

Brandon Wallace had 16 points and 13 rebounds, Tommy Smith had 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Terrance Thomas had 12 points and 12 boards as the Ants (22-21) jumped to third place in the D-League's East Division.

The win might have been the most-balanced for the Ants this season, as six players also finished in double figures in scoring.

Lost between the cracks that Fort Wayne also shot 54 percent (45 of 85), and had 21 assists.

The Ants play Austin on Friday at the Coliseum, and return Sunday to play Rio Grande Valley.
