Sexual misconduct alleged with girl, 15

Wolfe

The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department has arrested a rural Ashley man accused of “inappropriate contact” with a 15-year-old girl.

Dakota J. Wolfe, 22, was arrested on one count of felony sexual misconduct with a minor, according to a written statement from the department.

It said the arrest was a result of a three-week investigation in response to a complaint that the contact happened in the Angola area in September.

Wolfe was being held without bond pending a court appearance, the sheriff’s department said.

The sheriff’s department was assisted by the Steuben County Department of Child Services and the Ashley Police Department.
