Cheers

CHEERS to everyone involved with “Wings for Maggie Ray,” the documentary that aired March 7. Hurrah for a super Hoosier pioneer lady.

IRMGARD BANKS Hicksville, Ohio

CHEERS to the very polite and friendly lady who approached me and said “I’ll take care of that” after I had just put gas in my car at a local gas station one day recently. I hope she knows how much I appreciate her kind and generous gesture. She made my day!

DICK BROWN Fort Wayne

CHEERS to Penn Station East Coast Subs (David Brown) and Kroger stores (Chris Gomez) for their unexpected donations to Coats for Kids’ children’s winter coat collection. These funds allow us to shop the clearance sales and purchase kids’ winter coats at tremendous discounts. This winter has been so very cold, and we are still supplying coats to schools and social service agencies that have urgent requests. These warm coats will help us give us a head start for the 2013 Coats for Kids program.
