Grain futures mixed, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 2.5 cents to $7.2725 a bushel; May corn rose 7 cents to $7.3325 a bushel; May oats rose 4.75 cents to $4.01 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 3.25 cents to $14.3725 a bushel.

Beef and pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.25 cent to $1.2645 a pound; April feeder cattle rose 0.35 cent to $1.384 a pound; April lean hogs rose 0.42 cent to 78.47 cents a pound.
