Huntington University, 2303 College Ave., Huntington, is having its inaugural Bergdall Endowed Lectureship on Biblical Studies at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Zurcher Auditorium of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. The featured speaker is Walter Kaiser, a top evangelical Old Testament scholar, who will speak on “Why Does God Use the Jewish People?”

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S. Clinton St., is having an Easter vigil Mass at 8:35 p.m. today.

The Rescue Mission, 301 W. Superior St., will host its Easter meal from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday.

An Easter Mass will be at 8 and 9 a.m. Sunday at the Allen County Jail, 417 S. Calhoun St.

Forest Park United Methodist Church, 2100 Kentucky Ave., is having an Easter service at 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

Trinity English Lutheran Church, 405 W. Wayne St., is having Easter services at 7:30, 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday. Easter breakfasts will be at 6:30 and 11 a.m.

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 7308 St. Joe Road, will have an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday with a Rite II service at 10:15 a.m.

First Presbyterian Church of Van Wert, 300 block S. Washington St., Van Wert, Ohio, is having an Easter service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, featuring the chancel choir performing an Easter cantata.
