North-side shooting victim, 22, is ID'd

FORT WAYNE -- A man shot and critically wounded in the lot of Early Birds Ultralounge as the north-side club was closing about 3 a.m. Sunday has been identified, fort Wayne police said Monday.

Marck J. Vachon, 22, of Fort Wayne was apparently shot during a fight in the lot, which involved several people. Soon afterward, Vachon arrived at a local hospital in a private vehicle.

Early Birds shares a building with the YOLO Event Center at 4201 N. Wells St., near Coliseum Boulevard.
