Diggins picks up honor

Notre Dame women's guard Skylar Diggins picked up another honor Friday.

The senior was named to the Senior CLASS first team.

Diggins had already been named an Associated Press, John R. Wooden Award and United States Basketball Writers Association All-American.

Diggins averages 17.3 points, 6 assists and 3.1 steals, and she is Notre Dame's all-time leader in points (2,347), steals (377), games started (143) and minutes played (4,601).

Notre Dame (35-1) plays Connecticut (33-4) for the fourth time this season when the two teams meet in the NCAA tournament's Final Four at 9 p.m. Sunday at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans.
