Daffodils are the one of the early spring bloomers.

Daffodils are in bloom

Spring is here when the daffodils are in bloom and I hear the trill of a kingfisher.

I went out to take photos of the crocuses in my yard this afternoon, but they were past their prime. I looked around my yard to see what else was in bloom and discovered the daffodils.

As I was shooting this photo I could also hear a kingfisher on the St. Joseph River. Spring is definitely here.
