Adams Central withstood a furious Bishop Dwenger rally to take a 17-15 baseball victory that took eight innings at Shoaff Park.
Trailing 7-4 going into the top of the sixth inning, Adams Central scored eight runs to take a 12-7 lead, then added three more the next inning. But Dwenger came back with eight in the bottom of the seventh to tie it at 15, setting up Adams Centrals two-run eighth that gave the Flying Jets their fourth win to start the season.
Conner Lengerich led Adams Centrals 18-hit assault with three doubles., while Ben Kosiarek had a double and triple for the Saints.
