More thunderstorms head this way

Northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio can expect to have thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service in northern Indiana says.

It said the worst weather is expected to be south of U.S. 30.

The following counties are in the hazardous outlook area:

  • Indiana – Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, Whitley, LaPorte, St. Joseph, Elkhart, Starke, Pulaski, Marshall, Fulton, White, Cass, Miami, Grant, Blackford and Jay.
  • Ohio – Williams, Fulton, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Allen.
The weather service said the region might have more thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday. Some of these storms might produce large hail and damaging winds.
