Dane Phillips is a double away from the cycle and has three RBI to his name. His efforts helped the TinCaps turn a four-run deficit into a 7-5 lead entering the seventh inning.

Phillips had a home run in the third and a two-run triple in the fifth to tie the game. Lansing reliever Griffin Murphy, who had a 0.00 ERA entering the day through 6 1/3 innings, gave up two runs in the fifth to let the TinCaps back in it.

Reliever Tucker Donahue came on with runners on second and third to try and stymie the TinCaps' assault in the sixth, but gave up a line drive single to left to Cory Adamson that scored two.

The teams have 19 hits between them with three innings left to play.
