Fort Wayne man wins $500,000 prize

FORT WAYNE – A Fort Wayne man is the grand prize winner in a Hoosier Lottery second-chance drawing, the lottery commission announced Tuesday.

It said Larry Stoner claimed the $500,000 Money Mania prize at the lottery headquarters on Monday.

The Hoosier Lottery said Larry and Nancy Stoner plan to give some money to each of their grown children, as well as sending gifts to Indiana University and Riley Children's Hospital.

The rest will go in the bank for retirement, the announcement said. The Hoosier Lottery said Larry Stoner has been a patent illustrator for 49 years and his wife works in quality assurance for a medical software company.
