FORT WAYNE – The School of Health Science Wellness Committee at the University of Saint Francis is inviting the public to the campus for World Healing Day, “One World….One Breath.”
The free event at 10 a.m. Saturday, part of a worldwide observance at that time, includes “healthful movements such as Tai Chi and the practice of meditation to promote peace and tranquility and create a consciousness of personal and world healing,” the university said in a statement issued Thursday.
Visitors are asked to arrive by 9:50 a.m. and are encouraged to bring a friend.
Participants will meet in front of Brookside, the former Bass mansion, on the main campus. In case of inclement weather, the event will move to the North Campus across the street, by way of the rear entrance, the university said.
