Fundraiser will help injured local athlete

The Fort Wayne Sport Club Men’s League will host a spaghetti dinner Saturday to raise funds for a local athlete.

David Macias, a senior at Homestead High School and a member of the high school and Sport Club Academy soccer teams, was injured in a car crash Feb. 7.

The dinner will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Fort Wayne Sport Club, 3012 Ardmore Ave.

The cost is $10 a person, $5 for children younger than 10; ages 2 and younger eat free.
