Ohio woman injured in 2-vehicle crash

A two-car crash Friday night in Paulding County, Ohio, left an Oakwood, Ohio, woman in serious condition, according to the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. on County Road 140 at Township Road 191.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Kacy Wagner, 30, of Oakwood, was southbound on Township Road 191. A Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Benjamin Decker, 28, of Defiance, Ohio, was eastbound on County Road 140.

Troopers said Wagner failed to stop at the intersection, and her vehicle was struck by Decker’s pickup truck. Wagner was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Decker was treated and released from Mercy Defiance Hospital.

A passenger in Wagner’s car, Brett Wagner, 30, of Oakwood, had minor injuries and was treated in the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
