Happy Mother's Day. See you in court

So, what are you getting your Mom for Mother's Day?

Flowers? Candy? A nice meal out?

How about a lawsuit?

Just to show, for the umpteenth time, that the rich are different from you and me, here's a heartwarming Mother's Day tale for you: Kobe Bryant is taking his mom to court over mementos from his high school and early pro career that she's trying to sell at auction.

Bryant says he never gave Mom permission to sell the items. Pamela Bryant says Kobe told her they were hers to do with as she wished. She's already received a $450,000 advance from the auction house.

"I never told my mother that she could have my personal property, let alone consign it for public auction," Bryant wrote in the suit.

Then he took to Twitter with this: "When u give Give GIVE and they take Take TAKE at wat point do u draw a line in the sand? #hurtbeyondmeasure #gavemenowarning #love?"

Something tells me you won't find Kobe trolling the card aisle at Hallmark this weekend. Just a wild guess.
