Sex offenses net 29 years in prison

A 38-year-old man was sentenced to 29 years in prison on two separate cases alleging sex offenses.

Raymond Ybarra, of the 2300 block of Dale Drive, pleaded guilty in April to charges of child molesting and child exploitation in one case and charges of child solicitation and possession of child pornography in another case.

On Thursday, Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull sentenced Ybarra to 25 years on the most serious child molesting charge and four years on the child exploitation charge but ordered those sentences to be served at the same time. They will be served after he does a total of four years in prison on the other case, according to court documents.

Ybarra admitted to police in December that he molested a girl and took photos of her in December 2011. He said he later distributed the pictures to others. He was also accused of having a 12-year-old girl send him partly nude photos of herself through Facebook.
