After receiving a suspended prison sentence in October for neglecting her child, a Fort Wayne woman found herself in trouble again.
And after that trouble – a fight at a local nightclub – Breezy Parker, of the 300 block of West Williams Street, found herself Wednesday on her way to the Department of Correction to serve the original eight-year sentence.
In October, Allen Superior Court Judge John Surbeck gave Parker a suspended sentence after she pleaded guilty to four felony counts of neglect.
She was accused of leaving her children in the care of Antonio Henderson who, according to court documents, beat them, choked them to unconsciousness and threatened to put them in a cage with a 6-foot boa constrictor.
Surbeck sentenced Henderson in November to 16 years in prison.
In February, Parker was charged with misdemeanor battery, and Allen Superior Court Judge Fran Gull ordered Parkers original suspended sentence revoked.
Parker will serve eight years for each count of neglect of a dependent, but the sentences will be served at the same time.
