Top-15 recruit Theo Pinson, one of Indiana's top targets for the 2014 class, slipped away from the Hoosiers today.
Pinson, a North Carolina native, had IU among his finalists before a 12:15 p.m. decision today. He opted to stay close to home and play for UNC.
The Hoosiers were a favorite among many recruiting experts entering today's announcement. In the past 48 hours, the Tar Heels made a push, which proved to be enough to sway the 6-foot-6 wing.
IU has one commitment in the 2014 class, with former Bishop Luers player James Blackmon Jr. on board.
