Noble County sobriety checkpoint scheduled

The Fort Wayne District of the Indiana State Police announced Wednesday that troopers will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint in Noble County during the late evening on Friday and into the early morning hours of Saturday.

The police did not saw where in the county the checkpoint will be, only that it will be “in an area identified as having a high number of alcohol related crashes.”

Drivers who encounter the stop are asked to have their licenses and vehicle registrations quickly available “to minimize the amount of time that they are delayed.”
