A walk-off hit from Scott Donley gave Indiana a 4-3 win against Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament title game Sunday in Minneapolis.
The Hoosiers (43-14) are all but assured a NCAA regional bid for the tournament and have a shot at a national seed after the victory against the Cornhuskers (29-30).
The regional hosts will be announced around 9 p.m. Sunday, and the tournament field will be released on ESPNU at noon Monday.
Fort Wayne native and South Side grad Will Coursen-Carr threw 127 pitches in a nine-inning outing for IU.
He gave up three earned runs and eight hits in the freshman's longest outing as a Hoosier. He also picked up his third win of the season.
Coursen-Carr's outing helped the Hoosiers make history.
IU became the Big Ten regular-season champion and postseason champion for the first time in the same season.
The program's last outright regular-season title came in 1932, and its last tournament title in 2009.
