Body under mobile home identified

– Authorities in Bloomington have identified a man whose body was found under a mobile home by children playing hide-and-seek.

Monroe County Coroner Nicole Meyer identified the man Monday as 52-year-old Michael Broll of Bloomington.

Bloomington police Sgt. Joe Crider says investigators are waiting on an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday to shed more light on the cause and manner of death.

Crider says the mobile home was abandoned.

Nearby residents tell The Herald-Times that several neighborhood children were playing hide-and-seek about 8 p.m. Sunday when a couple of them noticed from a distance that feet were emerging from under a home. One of the older children notified parents, who called police.
