- Today is the first start for Rodriguez, who is filling in with Ruben Mejia on the disabled list. The right-hander has gone 8 2/3 innings for Fort Wayne in four games and given up seven hits and one earned run.
- Third baseman Gabriel Quintana was moved officially to the DL today with a fracture in his right hand. Double-A infielder Chris Burke transferred down to fill out the TinCaps 25-man roster.
- Utility man Diego Goris is 6 for 9 in his last two games against Lansing and will look to continue that streak if he makes the lineup today. Goris filled in for Quintana at third during the first two games of the homestand.
