Two Purdue athletes received the Big Ten Outstanding Sportsmanship Award, which was released today.

Track athlete Jakob Engel and women's basketball player Courtney Moses were two of 24 given the award. The Big Ten chose its honorees out of 300 candidates and one in each varsity sport from each of the conference members.

Engel, a thrower, earned first team All-American in his event during the indoor track and field season and set the second- and fifth-best marks in Boilermaker history in the event.
