TinCaps, West Michigan scoreless through 3

Fort Wayne and West Michigan are tied 0-0 after three innings at Parkview Field.

TinCaps starter Justin Hancock gave up one hit in his first three innings: a triple by designated hitter Lance Durham in the top of the second. Durham was tagged out at home on the next at-bat.

Whitecaps starter Charlie Gillies got himself in trouble in the third inning with a balk and wild pitch, which advanced Mallex Smith from first to third. But Gillies was able to pitch out of the jam.
