TinCaps pitcher Joe Ross and Dayton's Robert Stephenson are hooked in a three-inning, 0-0 pitchers' duel so far at Parkview Field.

Ross has held the Dragons hitless. Dayton's DH Joe Terry reached in the second innings on an error by TinCaps second baseman Maxx Tissenbaum. Ross has two strikeouts.

Stephenson gave up a two-out double to Tissenbaum in the first inning, then hit Chris Burke with a 100-mph fastball in the second.

Stephenson, who leads the Midwest League in strikeouts with 77, has three so far.
