Bishop Luers CB rescinds letter of intent to Purdue

Bishop Luers cornerback TyVel Jemison, who signed a National Letter of Intent with Purdue, will instead head to Grand Valley State.

Coach Kyle Lindsay confirmed the news via text Wednesday afternoon. He said he will be able to offer more details this evening but has an obligation to take care of first.

The Knights coach said he wasn't sure of the details.

"In all honesty, I'm not sure why the decision was made by Tyvel," Lindsay said via text. "As of a month ago, he was committed and excited to go attend Purdue."
