Warsaw raid nets pot counts, 2 arrests

Two Warsaw men were arrested Thursday afternoon on drug charges, Warsaw police said.

Police said they went to a mobile home in the 900 block of Anchorage Road about 3:30 p.m. Thursday after getting information that illegal drugs were being distributed from that residence.

Nathan Ghrist, 32, of the mobile home, was charged with felony dealing in marijuana, dealing in a Schedule I narcotic, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana over 30 grams, possession of a controlled substance and neglect of a child, police said.

A 22-year-old man was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, the statement said.

It said four additional warrants have been filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office.

The children at the mobile home were placed with family members, police said.
