PBS39 to go off air for maintenance work

The stations of PBS39 will be going off the air at 1 a.m. Thursday to perform electrical and power-system upgrades, the broadcaster said today.

Viewers should expect the total off-air time to be between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m., PBS39 said in a statement.

The work to be completed is part of the initial phase of the stations' $2.5 million technology campaign, which within three years is to allow increased levels of service and content delivery throughout the area, the statement said.
