Curt Miller adds 2 staffers for women's basketball

Indiana athletics announced the additions of a new video coordinator and graduate assistant for the women's basketball team today.

Curt Miller welcomed Jimmy Colloton and Azjah Bass to the staff today. Colloton, who was the Hoosiers' graduate assistant the last two years, will join the coaching staff in a full-time capacity as its video coordinator. Bass will take over the graduate assistant spot left vacant by Colloton.

"Jimmy is a talented coach and did a fantastic job as our graduate assistant last season," Miller said in a statement. "Azjah comes highly recommended and I have truly enjoyed getting to know her over the last few weeks. I believe she will be a great role model for our players after enjoying an outstanding prep and collegiate career in the state of Indiana."

Colloton had previous experience with his new position. As a GA, he assisted with video coordinator duties. His third year with the program starts Friday.

Bass begins her role with the team Monday. She was an Indiana All-Star in 2007 and played four years of basketball at Butler before taking a job as the associate head coach at Lincoln Trail Junior College in Robinson, Ill. She is a Lawrence Central alumna.
