Child porn yields raid, 1 arrest in Van Wert

A Van Wert, Ohio, man was arrested Wednesday after police said child pornography had been downloaded to a computer in his home.

Paul K. Susralski, 48, is charged with the following felonies: pandering obscenity involving a minor; pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor; illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance; and possession of criminal tools. He was being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility and is expected to appear today in Van Wert Municipal Court.

The Van Wert City Police Department assisted agents from the Crimes Against Children Unit of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification in searching Susralski’s home at 150 Blaine St. in Van Wert. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation had obtained evidence identifying the house as where child pornography had been downloaded, officials said.

Agents seized computers and other electronics from the home, police said.
