3 hospitalized after ATV crash

Indiana conservation officers are investigating an ATV crash in Allen County on Thursday night that sent to people to a Fort Wayne hospital.

According to a preliminary report from the officers, four people were riding on a sports utility vehicle shortly before 9 p.m. in the area of Ryan Road and Indiana 930, just east of New Haven, when the vehicle crashed.

A 26-year-old woman and two juveniles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injures, officers said, and were kept overnight for observation. Everyone in the crash had a New Haven address, conservation officers said.

Further details are not available but conservation officers said it is believed that alcohol was a contributing factor in the crash.
