TinCaps in control against Great Lakes

A pair of errors helped Fort Wayne get a 2-0 lead on Great Lakes, and solid pitching from starter Bryan Rodriguez has kept the TinCaps there.

Rodriguez walked two batters in the first inning, but has yet to give up a hit and retired seven straight entering the fourth inning.

Fort Wayne, meanwhile, took advantage of a pair of Loons errors to take a 2-0 advantage. Singles by third baseman Chris Burke and right fielder Corey Adamson drove in catcher Dane Phillips, who reached on an error to start the second inning.

Then, Burke scored on a ground ball fielder's choice from left fielder Luis Domoromo.
