Upcoming game going to the dogs

The TinCaps are playing host to the first-ever Bark in the Park at Parkview Field on Aug. 4 as Fort Wayne has a doubleheader against Lansing at 2:05 p.m.

As part of Bark in the Park, presented by the Petco Foundation and the Allen County SPCA, fans can bring their dogs to the games.

Pooch Passes are available for $12, offering lawn seating in left-center field for fans and their dogs.

A portion of each purchased Pooch Pass will be donated back to the Allen County SPCA to help continue their work in providing a safe haven for homeless cats and dogs in Northeast Indiana.

Each Pooch Pass permits one dog, and the deadline to purchase Pooch Passes and space is Aug. 1 and limited to the first 150 dogs.

Before receiving Pooch Passes, fans must present up-to-date vaccination and shot records for their dogs and must also sign a waiver. All dogs must be two years of age and kept on a leash during the games.

An animal control officer will be present at all times.
