So, remember that 3-0 TinCaps lead?
It's just that now: A memory.
A two-run fifth and a three-run sixth has the visiting Lansing Lugnuts up 5-3 at the end of six. And it happened rather suddenly.
After scratching out just one hit against Bryan Rodriguez through the first four innings, Jordan Leyland led off the Lansing fifth by beating out a weak dribbler down the third base line, moved to second on Jason Leblebijian's single, then came home on Dwight Smith Jr.'s double to the right-field corner.
Leblebijian then loped home on Emilio Guerrero's ground-out to short, and the TinCaps' was down to one run.
One inning and four more hits later, the lead was gone entirely.
Carlos Ramirez' leadoff double, Chris Hawkins' single, Daniel Klein's two-run double to the left-field wall and Smith's RBI single between first and second sent Rodriguez to the showers and the Lugnuts to the seventh with a 5-3 lead.
Since Alberth Martinez' two-run bomb, the TinCaps have just three hits and went down 1-2-3 in the sixth.
