Different game, different story

Three innings gone in Game 2 of the doubleheader between the TinCaps and Lansing, and so far it's like this: One storyline, reset.

The TinCaps greeted Lansing starter Eric Brown with three runs in the first on Alberth Martinez' RBI double and RBI singles by Gabriel Quintana and Luis Domoromo.

Lansing, meanwhile, stranded a baserunner at third base in the second and scored a run in the third against TinCaps starter Walker Weickel, who's gone deep into counts so far but has given up just three hits in three innings.

The Lugnuts got their run in the third on a two-out RBI single between first and second by Dalton Pompey.
