Pete needs a home

Pete is a 4 1/2-year-old neutered grey and white domestic short hair kitty.

“Hello, my name is Pete! I was brought to the Allen County SPCA by my family because they were moving to a place that I was not allowed.

“I am a very sweet, but shy kitty. Even though I have a laid-back personality, I do enjoy hanging out with volunteers at the shelter who give me attention.

“I am the type who will respect my human pals and be the most loyal cat ever! The staff feels I would do well with children as long as they treat me nicely and know when to give me space. I would probably do well in a home with dogs and other cats.

“If you are searching for a sweet and laid-back guy, please ask to see me today!”

He is available for adoption at the Allen County SPCA, 4914 Hanna St.

The shelter is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
