Change of direction

Max Fried will not be getting the baseball tonight as the TinCaps starter.

That honor falls to Zach Eflin, the TinCaps' hot arm of late. Eflin, 5-5 with a 3.02 ERA, has had the fourth lowest ERA in the Midwest League (2.39) since the start of May. In his last outing he shut out Lake County for five innings before giving up two runs in the sixth and exiting with a no-decision.
