She is very weak! The rest of this week was worst as she tried to go "scorched earth" at the school board association and special education conference.

Ask the same questions to me. I'll give you some real answers. Thanks for your help!

Only about a dozen folks showed up. Only one K-12 educator, no school administers and no school board members (beyond me from PHS).

The questions I submitted (that you provided) were asked, but they were softened quite a bit to be less direct and more "southern Indiana-esque". The responses Glenda provided were hard to follow and weren't very structured. At one point, I looked at your son and asked him if he understood what Glenda was talking about…

After one of my questions was asked, Glenda initially responded, "…wow! The person asking that question has a great understanding of the funding system." And then went on with a bunch of babble I honestly couldn't follow.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with her presence and delivery. She's also a bit of a single issue candidate, from my perspective she seems to just want to eliminate testing.

That's all I've got…

Thanks for asking and offering:

What is your school leadership experience? Have you ever been a principal or superintendent? What is the largest budget you have ever managed?

Given that Indiana requires only the NCLB requirements for testing (other than IREAD 3), and given your positions that we waste money on too much testing, how would you suggest that the state recoup the federal money we receive if we follow your direction and we choose not to assess.

As a local teacher union president and and ISTA board member, what is your position on the Chicago teacher strike? How can you assure taxpayers you will look out for students and taxpayers when you have such strong ties to the ISTA.

Let me know what you think.
