Making sure everything’s right before the big show

John Thorne, a member of the Maumee Valley Steam and Gas Association, works on the conveyors for a sawmill at Jefferson Township Park outside New Haven on Thursday. The mill is being prepared for the association’s 36th annual show, which runs from Aug. 15-18. It will feature steam-powered tractors, engines, a horse pull, fish dinners and a model airplane show.
