TinCaps down 7-4 after 6

The TinCaps trail the Dayton Dragons 7-4 after six innings Saturday at Parkview Field.

Dayton (54-63, 26-22 second half) scored five runs on seven hits in the fifth inning, including a solo home run by Humberto Valor, who also had an RBI walk as the Dragons batted around.

The Dragons had five straight hits to chase starter Walker Weickel.

Weickel gave up 11 hits and seven earned runs in 4 2/3 innings.

The TinCaps (60-56, 17-30 second half) scored four runs in the second inning to take a 4-2 lead.

Making his debut with the TinCaps, San Diego Padres' first-round draft pick Hunter Renfroe was 0 for 2 with an RBI walk in three plate appearances so far.
