It's all quiet here at Parkview Field after three innings.
The Dayton Dragons have threatened but not been able to put one across on TinCaps' starter Zach Eflin, and Dayton starter Drew Cisco has allowed just two baserunners.
Eflin allowed only leadoff man Sammy Diaz to reach base on a hot smash down the line that TinCaps first baseman Luis Tejada couldn't come up with before Joe Hudson and Humberto Valor led off the Dayton third with back-to-back singles. But Diaz went down on a sacrifice bunt, Jeff Gelaich struck out looking and Jesse Winker grounded out to Tejada to end the threat.
Gabriel Quintana, meanwhile, led off the second with a double off Dayton starter Drew Cisco, but was stranded on third when Tyler Stubblefield struck out to end the inning. In the third, Miguel Del Castillo singled with one out but was immediately erased by a 1-6-3 double play.
