Hit-and-run in restaurant lot critically injures 1

FORT WAYNE – The city police department is asking for the public's help after a man was struck just before dawn Monday by a vehicle in the parking lot of a restaurant on the city's near-south side.

Officers were called to the south parking lot of Las Lomas Mexican Grill, 2202 S. Fairfield Ave., about 6:30 a.m. They found a man critically injured, according to a statement issued by police.

The police said the victim has not been positively identified.
